Limited time offer you won't want to miss.
Today I’m starting a new offer and if I say so myself it’s quite an amazing opportunity. You see I never ask a client to leave a review anywhere on the internet. The reason I don’t is that I don’t want them to feel obliged to do so. It’s not normally part of the deal when I take a client on. Asking a client to leave a review, after we’ve finished working together, may put the client who doesn’t want anyone to know they’ve had hypnotherapy in an awkward position. They may feel
The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs
Two one hour documentaries have recently aired on the BBC. Hosted by Dr Chris' van Tulleken they were titled “The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs”. I watched both episodes this weekend and would like to put forward how I see the problem and some of the points raised. Before I even saw the programme I thought most doctors prescribe too many drugs and I put that down to a number of things. Doctors can’t afford to spend to long with patients and so have to go for the quick answer. The
Heroes aren't always what they seem.
Currently on the BBC website is a story about a petition to remove a statue of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, otherwise known as Mahatma Gandhi, and the reason is racism. The originators of the petition sight quotes, writings in which Gandhi calls black Africans savages and kaffirs. The quotes have been attributed to an online source called GandhiServe Foundation. This seems to fly in the face of the image of Ghandi, man of peace and equality but Ghandi’s grandson and biographer
You too can have a positive mental attitude.
The weekend saw Manchester United lose their third game in a row. Unsurprisingly, Man’ United manager, Jose Mourinho criticised some of the decisions made by the match officials. However he did also say that some of his players where not coping with defeat well. These are top flight sportsmen and yet their manager says they are not coping with defeat and it’s effecting their performance. We are accustomed to seeing top sports men and women putting this sort of thing behind th
Think your E-cigarette is safe? Think again.
The use of E-cigarettes in the UK is still growing. Despite some being unhappy about the number of liquids used that aren’t tested by any authority in this country. They are deemed to be the safe option when compared to cigarettes. But are they really safe? Apparently not. Recent research, which those who use E-cigarettes may find a little distasteful, highlights the number of chemicals inhaled from an E-cigarette. Researchers tested two different types of E-cigarettes and th
Amateurs can still be at the top of their game
Recently we’ve had the Rio Olympics, the start of the 2016-2017 football season and now the Rio Para-Olympics. Looking at sport coverage on TV it would seem that no matter what the sport, it gets media coverage. Not so of course. Not even at the highest levels for some sports. This weekend for instance saw the southern and Northern division 2 finals of the British American Football Association. I'd like to say well done to Oxfordshire’s very own Oxford Saints won the Division

In the last couple of years or so, around this time of year the government has run a stop smoking campaign. They called it Stoptober and the idea was to encourage smokers to give up in October. Nothing wrong with that. You don’t have to wait until January to make changes to your life. New Year’s resolutions are all very well and good but, New Year is three months away, why wait? I haven’t seen any Stoptober publicity yet this year but anticipate it will start soon. To mark th
Are England's players scared?
So yesterday saw England’s first football match will Sam Allardyce in charge and it wasn’t great. The football fans amongst you will know they won with a goal in the 95th minute. On the upside, they got that goal because they fought to the final whistle. England teams of the past may have given up and settled for the draw. It was the after match analysis that threw up the reason for me writing about it. One of the pundits on Radio 5 commented on how well all the English playe
